Who we are and what this policy covers

BlogCorridor.com (“BlogCorridor”, “we”, “us”) publishes articles and landing pages that may link to products sold by other companies. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or one of our landing pages, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the website.

You can reach us at contact@blogcorridor.com.

Information we collect

We collect very little about you, and only in the ways below.

Information you send us. If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, our hosting provider and our tools may record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, the time of your visit, and the page or ad you came from.

Campaign tags. Links on our pages may carry a short tag, such as “pin2”, that tells us which page or post a click came from. The tag does not identify you.

We do not ask for payment details. Purchases are made on the seller’s own checkout page, not on our website.

How we use your information

We use information to run the website and to understand what is useful to visitors. In particular, we use it to:

  • operate, secure and improve the website and prevent abuse
  • answer your messages
  • see which pages and posts people find useful
  • measure how our advertising performs
  • meet our legal obligations

We do not use your information to make decisions about you that have legal effects.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies on some pages to understand how visitors use the site and how our advertising performs. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and advertising pixels such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel or the Pinterest Tag. These tools may set cookies in your browser and send their providers information such as your IP address, device and the pages you visit. They do not give us your name or email address.

If you arrive from an ad, the ad platform may also recognise you through its own cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off ad personalization in your Facebook, Pinterest and Google ad settings. Some parts of the site may work less well if you block cookies.

Some links on our pages are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click such a link you leave our website. The seller, or a reseller such as Digistore24, then handles your order and collects your payment and contact details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment information.

We do not control how other websites treat your data, so please read the privacy policy of any site you reach through our links.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, such as our hosting provider and our analytics and advertising tools, and with authorities when the law requires it or when we need to protect our rights, our visitors or the site. If the business is ever sold or transferred, information may pass to the new owner under the same protections.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it. Contact messages are kept long enough to answer them and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you write again. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to the retention settings of each tool and provider. We delete or anonymise information once we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you gave earlier. This includes rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and under the California Consumer Privacy Act if you live in California.

To use a right, email contact@blogcorridor.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are, and we will answer within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children’s privacy

BlogCorridor.com is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email contact@blogcorridor.com and we will delete it.

Security, international use, changes and contact

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our service providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States, so your information may be processed there.

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and continued use of the website means you accept the updated version.
